Niantic has confirmed that Oshawott, the Otter Pokémon, initial water type of the Unova region and Legends Pokémon Arceus in Hisui, will be the main protagonist of the Community Day of the month of September 2021 in Pokémon GO. The ninth Community Day this year will take us back to Generation V, where this creature is original, whose final evolution will leave us with a brand new Samurott with exclusive movement. September Community Day date, time and characteristics – Oshawott
Community Day in September 2021 will take place next Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. As it has already been fixed permanently, six hours in duration; something especially important in hot months as we are in, thus giving us more scope to choose warmer time slots. It will be during those hours when Oshawott will appear much more frequently in the wild and if we are lucky we can find it fit shiny/variocolor. We review the key points of the event.
- Oshwawott will appear much more frequently, may appear shiny and will be attracted to Rain Bait Modules.
- If we evolve an Oshawott to Dewott during the event or up to two hours after it ends, the final Samurott will learn the move Hydro cannon.
- Samurott will be able to learn the charged attack Shell Filo hereinafter; even after Community Day is over.
Bonus confirmed: Triple XP per catch; the incenses activated during the event will last for three hours; Bait Modules activated during the event will also last three hours, 180 minutes.
