The time has come to return to the Sinnoh region and to undertake once again the great adventure that marked an entire generation with the arrival of Diamond and Pearl Pokémon. This time we have its remake editions, which represent a considerable graphic leap and add several changes and additions compared to the originals. In order to prepare for its near launch, here are the keys to its arrival on Nintendo Switch at the end of this week in November.
Release date, price and editions
- Launching: Friday, November 19, 2021
Regarding their price, both editions can be found in digital form in the eShop for € 59.99 or for the same price but in its physical version. We can find it available in stores like GAME, Amazon, FNAC, Media Markt… for a price variation of up to about € 5 cheaper, at € 54.99 in some of them. Choosing one or the other will depend entirely on our personal preferences, although it is advisable to consult the extras for the reservation that some of these stores have, such as the DLC with several digital PokéBalls + poster that GAME gives away, for example.
On the other hand, some establishments also offer the option of obtaining a dual pack with both games for about € 119.95, but it is somewhat difficult to find it available at the time of writing, except for a surprise reload of stock in the last moments before its launch or afterwards.
The remake of Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shining Pearl promises to add a wide range of innovative options compared to the original version that we could enjoy on Nintendo DS almost two decades ago. Many of us were boys and girls at the time of its release and now, as adults, we will return to Sinnoh in a version that promises to directly target our nostalgic streak.
