Yes, today is Monday … And the best way to overcome it is by getting distracted with, for example, all the premieres that you can see this week in the field of video on demand, which as always is loaded with VOD premieres on Netflix, HBO Spain -early HBO MAX España-, Movistar +, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+and Filmin.
In Movistar + we have a recent premiere such as Monster Hunter by Paul WS Anderson, which after closing its successful (although repudiated) Resident Evil saga based (that is to say) on Capcom video games, has wanted to adapt another saga just as successful as it is Monster Hunter. Milla Jovovich works on screen not with zombies, but with colossal creatures more like dinosaurs in a plot that again does not seem to be very based on the game that it adapts.
Disney + brings us Inside Disney, a new series to learn what is behind each Disney movie or theme park. Each episode consists of three stories with which to explore the magical world of Disney. And also the third installment of Rec, a prequel that also breaks with the Found Footage aesthetic of the previous ones, and Victor Frankenstein, an adrenaline-pumping film based on Shelley’s immortal work that rewrites the text to show us a much more human Igor and a Frankenstein. crazier with superb James McCavoy and Daniel Radcliffe.
And Netflix, as always, is loaded with titles including Locke & Key season 2; Insiders, a reality show presented by Nawja Nimri in which people who don’t know they are filming it for so long are followed for 24 hours; and the biggest gift of the month: All the seasons of The Office (USA), one of the best comedies in the history of TV.

Ted Bundy: Inside the Killer’s Mind
11:45 pm at Movistar Premieres (dial 30). Elijah Wood plays FBI analyst Bill Hagmaier in the tense and provocative game of cat and mouse that lived with Ted Bundy during the charismatic and brutal death row serial killer’s final years. In 1980, Ted Bundy was sentenced to death by electrocution. In the following years he agreed to reveal the details of his crimes, but only to one man: Bill Hagmaier, one of the original five agents of the FBI’s Behavior Analysis Unit (on which the ‘Mindhunter’ series is based).
Wednesday 20
Bloodthirsty
22: 00h at Movistar Premieres (dial 30). A film that unites the insecurities of musicians, LGTB + relationships, a recording studio in a gloomy mansion in the woods and, of course, lycanthropy. The bloodlust in the film’s title is that of Gray, an indie singer whose first album was a huge success and who has received an invitation to work with well-known music producer Vaughn Daniels in his remote studio in the woods. There he goes with his girlfriend, but soon begins to have visions in which he becomes a wolf.
Thursday the 21st
Martin Luther King and the FBI
22: 00h at Movistar Premieres (dial 30). Martin Luther King was the greatest activist for black civil rights and one of the greatest threats to the White House. ‘Martin Luther King and the FBI’ (Samuel D. Pollard) is a perfect journalistic work that compiles extensive archive material from 1955, tracing the years of activism of M. Luther King, until his assassination in Memphis in 1968.
Friday 22
Monster Hunter
22: 00h in Movistar Premieres 2 (dial 31). With Milla Jovovich (‘Resident Evil’) leading the cast, this action, fantasy and adventure film shows the mysterious disappearance in the desert of a convoy of soldiers with hardly any trace. When Jovovich’s character and his team investigate the incident, a sudden huge storm takes them to an alternate dimension riddled with gigantic and brutal monsters.
The Blacklist, season 9
VOSE in Movistar Series (dial 11). The new season is marked by (attention spoiler) the unexpected death of Liz (Megan Boone) at the hands of one of Townsend’s henchmen, just as she had decided to take over the reins of Reddington’s (James Spader) criminal empire. As the task force led by Cooper overcomes one of their most personal losses and tries to find out who was behind Keen’s murder, the question remains as to whether Reddington will seek revenge.
Saturday 23

When a strange and deadly variant of the virus spreads unexpectedly, the two find themselves fighting for their survival on another level. Without leaving home, yes.
Sunday 24th
Come to play
22: 00h in Movistar Premieres 2 (dial 31). A psychological horror film that is not afraid of not being overly terrifying, but that uses the most primal fears, anxieties and insecurities of parenting to create a truly disturbing story.
