We’ve been talking about the new series of phones called redmi K50 for quite some time. Many have been rumors about its possible specifications and release dates, but Xiaomi has wanted to silence all this noise around it to confirm that this new family will see the light next February officially in China.
In principle, it will be composed of up to three devices that would be the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro + and perhaps, later, could end up arriving a possible Redmi K50 Gaming Edition as it happened with its previous generation, phones that would end up equivalent to the possible POCO F4, POCO F4 GT, and company in the rest of the markets.
First specifications confirmed by Xiaomi
As we say, it has been Xiaomi itself through its social networks in charge of confirming the launch next February of its new Redmi K50 series. This announcement has come in the form of a promotional poster where we can also see confirmed features that will incorporate this equipment such as the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1processor, which we would probably see in the Pro + variant.
Another confirmed detail would be the fast charge of up to 120W that this equipment will incorporate, a capacity that will help to charge its 4.7000 mAh battery in just 17 minutes and, in addition, we will have a VC liquid cooling system thanks to which the temperature of the equipment will be completely controlled during this process or when we perform demanding tasks with the equipment.
For the rest, we do not have much more information beyond those rumors that point out that some of these teams will end up becoming the new POCO F4 or other variants of the new Xiaomi 12 oriented to the Global market, but we will have to wait for all this to be officially confirmed.
