Actor Richa Chadha is set to make her international debut in the Indo-British production ‘Aaina’ alongside British actor William Moseley. The film, set between London and India, was officially launched at the prestigious House of Lords. ‘Aaina’ is helmed by director Markus Meedt, making his feature debut with the project.
The film is a social drama that explores the impact of violence caused by war, both within cultures and on human beings in the form of PTSD. Richa Chadha expressed her excitement about the project, stating that she likes to experiment and is thrilled to be working in a new part of the world. She also mentioned that the film deals with an important subject and is one of the toughest roles she has taken up.
Sharing the screen with Chadha is William Moseley, a renowned British actor known for his roles in ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ films. Moseley has also showcased his exceptional talent and versatility as an actor in the Indian film ‘Margarita with a Straw’.
‘Aaina’ is being produced by Big Cat Films UK, with Geeta Bhalla and PJ Singh as the producers. Apart from this international project, Richa Chadha has a lineup of exciting films including ‘Nurse Manjot,’ ‘Fukrey 3,’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series ‘Heeramandi’.
