The Saints Row reboot will not be launched on February 25, 2022, as was initially contemplated, but the August 23, 2022; a delay of six months. Deep Silver (Embracer Group), publisher of the Volition title, has confirmed the information accompanied by an official statement signed by Jim Boone, creative head of the subsidiary studio based in Illinois, United States.
Saints Row moves away from busy February; is due out on August 23, 2022
“Our priority is to create the best Saints Row game to date and if we launched it on the original date, it would not be up to the standards that we have set and that you expect and deserve, “says Boone, who acknowledges that we” underestimate “the impact of COVID-19 on development, main trigger of this delay. “The team needs more time to do justice to our vision; we are making some adjustments and there will not be many changes to the game other than the overall quality and polish, “he says.
However, given the size and scale of this Sainsts Row reboot, they need more development time to become “the best Saints Row ever,” he backslid. And he ends: “Rest assured that there will be no change in the story or in the characters, or in anything that we have fondly imagined in recent years and that we have already shared with all of you.”
The Saints Row reboot will take us to the Santo Ieso region, inspired by the southwestern United States. A world with more customization options than ever; with an emphasis on exploring this huge open world; characters, factions, weapons and destruction. A title always connected with an artistic section that changes with respect to what we were used to in the saga, without leaving behind the characteristic humor of the series.
