Michelle Salas, daughter of Luis Miguel and Stephanie Salas, once again made a statement on the red carpet at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The fashionista opted for an elegant black crepe and champagne-colored satin dress designed by Pronovias. The dress featured a draped neckline, bare shoulders and crossed satin straps that highlighted the front of the suit. These straps were tied at the back and then-detached in a train that fell over a mermaid skirt.
The Atelier Pronovias spent over 25 hours creating the dress, including 50 hours of tailoring and numerous fittings to achieve the final look. Salas looked stunning in the dress as she attended the premiere of “La Passion De Dodin Bouffant,” receiving praise from fashion critics.
This year’s Cannes Film Festival marks Salas’ third appearance at the prestigious event, with a reputation of impressing fashion critics. In 2021, Salas dazzled in a beautiful white gown designed by Pronovias when she represented her grandmother, Silvia Pinal, for the 60th anniversary of the film Viridiana, which later won the Palme d’Or.
Salas also wore a princess-cut suit designed by Sophie Couture on another occasion, which she accessorized with a bow and stunning diamond earrings. Her fall while leaving her hotel room caused a sensation on social media, but her dress made a lasting impression.
In her stories this week, Salas revealed that she has several wardrobe fittings pending, including her wedding dress as she prepares to marry businessman Danilo Díaz. As she remains on the French Riviera for a few more days, it is clear that this young fashion icon will continue to turn heads with her impeccable taste and style.
