A few days ago, Shakira and Gerard Piqué officially announced their separation after twelve years of relationship. “We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our top priority, we ask for respect for privacy. Thank you for your understanding,” they said in a joint statement.
However, their responsibilities as parents of Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, do not allow the singer and the footballer to get away completely, as they had to travel to Hluboká, a small town located 150 kilometers south of Prague, to encourage their eldest son, who was playing a baseball tournament.
Although the children united them as parents on the trip they made just 24 hours after confirming the end of their relationship, both artists were uncomfortable meeting in the same place.
Judging by some photographs broadcast by the Telecinco program, ‘Socialité’, Shakira was in the front row of the stands trying to show her best smile to the people with whom she lived, while Gerard was in the upper part, isolated in a corner.
According to the head of the broadcast, Laura Fa, after the match in the children’s tournament, Shakira returned to Barcelona with the children, while Piqué went on vacation with his teammate, Riqui Puig.
The singer and the footballer ended their relationship in the midst of a controversy in which Piqué is accused of having been unfaithful to the interpreter of ‘Te felicito’, although so far this version has not been confirmed.
