After announcing last weekend her separation from Gerard Piqué, with whom she had a romantic relationship for more than a decade, and living several days distraught by the accident suffered by her father William Mebarak Chadid, Shakira has received good news.
And it is that her 90-year-old father finally left the hospital, as she herself made known to her followers by sharing on her social networks a small video in which she shows how she helps with her cognitive stimulation.
“With my father discharged, already at home and on the way, helping him with his cognitive stimulation after the trauma. Thank you all for wrapping us in your immense love,” the Colombian star wrote on Instagram.
The good news comes just days after the ‘Whenever Whenever’ singer caused concern among her fans after being seen entering an ambulance and taking the same network at the time to give explanations.
“Guys, I’m getting a lot of messages of concern about being seen in an ambulance in Barcelona recently. I just wanted to let you know that those photos are from last weekend (May 28), when my father, unfortunately, had a bad fall and I accompanied him in an ambulance to the hospital where he is recovering now.”
A few days ago, Shakira announced the break with her partner, the Spanish footballer – with whom she has her children Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7. The couple said in a joint statement: “We regret to confirm that we separated. We ask for privacy at this time for the well-being of our children, who are our top priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect.”
