Shang-Chi aims high: the sequel and a series of its universe for Disney + confirmed

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will have a sequel, as well as a new series set in the same universe for Disney +. This has been announced Marvel Studios through its maximum responsible, Kevin Feige, confirming both Simu Liu again in the role of the martial arts expert (now in possession of the Ten Rings) as the director of the original film, Destin Daniel Cretton, who will write and direct the second part. But the surprises do not end there; so much so, that Cretton himself will work on a series to Hulu through Disney+.

And it is that after the great success of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and its featured box office In the midst of a global pandemic, Marvel Studios has wanted to rely on its new franchise to expand it both in film and on television. At the moment nothing is known about possible plots of both productions, although the series (for Hulu’s Onyx Collection alongside Marvel Studios) might well explore the organization of Ten Rings now with Xialing up front, just as the rumors pointed out.
