Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is the new Marvel Studios movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all the Infinity Saga and the first three Phases, the so-called Phase 4 needs new heroes, giving way to illustrious characters from the world of comics who now do the same on the big screen or on television. Wandavision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki and now Shang-Chi prove that there is life beyond Avengers: Endgame. Judging by our viewing in the press call: it is well worth it.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Debuts September 3
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings premieres in cinemas around the world, including Spain, this Friday September 3. Depending on the cinema we go to, it will be possible to see it in Spanish or in its original version with subtitles, thus listening to the accents and original voices of the cast of actors; that we will review later. We are facing a different movie, with a duration of 2 hours and 12 minutes – plus two post-credit scenes that you can’t miss, and we’re going to read up to here – and a frenetic pace.
Simu Liu is in charge of interpreting the young Shang-Chi, a manager of parking luxury cars in San Francisco, until something happens; something to do with her past and that pendant she’s wearing. What is it about? Why do they want to take it away? At a certain point, the clandestine organization of the Ten Rings enters the scene and, ultimately, Shang-Chi’s life changes abruptly.
Characters like the Mandarin and a repertoire of martial arts that shine on screen are just the cover letter of one of the most refreshing Marvel movies of the last five years. Because it does not follow the patterns of yesteryear, it dares to be different and is, nevertheless, authentic.
