Silicon Valley investors enter Finnovating, the Spanish Linkedin that connects companies and funds

The first global platform that connects companies with corporations and investors to seek financing is Spanish. Popularly known as the ‘Linkedin B2B’, Finnovating has caught the attention of investors from Sillicon Valley, successfully completing its first round of funding.

The platform found in the pandemic the key moment for its birth: the lack of face-to-face meetings and encounters for small businesses and startups found investors for its financing, promoted its start-up. Finnovating, simplifies these search and location processes for corporations and investors, through a worldwide mapping of all companies, classified by sectors, profiles, business or capital.

Since the pre-launch last January, Finnovating has added almost 3,000 companies registered as Mastercard, Equifax, Iberia, Oracle o Cram, as well as consolidated startups of the stature of Bnext, Railsbank o N26, are already part of the platform.

In this way, the network of companies participating in this initiative exceeds 70,000: more than 50,000 startups and about 10,000 investors. Regarding its growth, expect to reach 100,000 users by the end of the year, which will determine your income since the platform is financed through a model freemium.

In this first round of financing, the company founded by Rodrigo Garcia de la Cruz has reached its fundraising objective thanks to 13 private investors from Sillicon Valley, Luxembourg and Spain and they hope to launch a second round by the end of 2021.

The entry into Finnovating of these professionals, who have led outstanding innovation and investment projects in Silicon Valley and the European and Asian markets, aims to promote the first international FinTech community, eliminating any physical and technological barrier.

The investment will be used mainly to expand the team, which has grown more than 45% in a few weeks, and the international expansion of the platform that already has registered companies from more than 60 countries, such as Canada, United States, Portugal, Germany, Mexico, Chile, China, Singapore or Hong-Kong.

“I would never have imagined joining so much international talent to accompany us on this beautiful journey, a path that I am convinced that we will travel together with all our members of the platform”, he concludes Rodrigo GarcĂa de la Cruz, CEO Finnovating.
