Sony Pictures has revealed that it will publish two new Marvel movies next year 2023. Although no names have transpired, the latest events in Sony’s Marvel Cinematic Universe leave the doors open to many possibilities; especially after the end of Venom: There Will Be Carnage. Both productions, under the Columbia Pictures label, will premiere on June 23, 2023 and the October 6, 2023, respectively.

Will new Sony movies be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
That the Marvel universe in the world of cinema is expanding is a reality. We have seen it in Loki and we will happen it in Spider-Man: No Way Home this December 17, added to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness next year. The recent events of Venom: There Will Be Carnage, whose post-credits scene fully introduces Eddie Brock (Venom) into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Disney) means that things are changing and that more characters before outside the MCU will become part of it .
Sony’s so-called Sony’s Spider-Man Universe leaves us with several already confirmed films that, therefore, do not fall within those other two ongoing productions. The first is Morbius. Marvel’s Vampire will premiere on January 22, 2022, while Kraven the Hunter will hit theaters on January 13, 2023. Now, what can we expect from there?
On the one hand, there is talk of a possible movie of Spider-Woman captained by Olivia Wilde, but it is not confirmed. Other Sony licensed characters in the Spider-Man universe may be Black Cat O Silver Sable; even a third Venom movie featuring Spider-Man and the Symbiote. Actor Tom Hardy would do “everything possible” for a crossover between the two.
