Stormy Daniels Reveals How Scary Life’s Become Since Trump’s Conviction

Stormy Daniels detailed on Tuesday how hostility from Trump supporters has intensified since the conviction related to the former president’s hush money case. Speaking with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, described the recent threats as “so much more graphic, detailed and brazen.”

“People don’t care. It’s scary,” she expressed, revealing that threats have come through Facebook from individuals in her own community. These messages included chilling warnings about the rape and murder of her family members, including her young daughter.

Daniels shared her experience of being doxxed while testifying during the trial. She described how her mailbox was destroyed, her animals were injured, and she now fears stepping outside due to the possibility of being followed.

The prospect of an end to this nightmare had kept her hopeful throughout the trial, she told Maddow. However, she noted that for every person celebrating Trump’s conviction, there was another who was deeply upset. “It just poured gasoline on some of the stuff that I had been going through the entire time,” she explained.

When asked if she feared Trump returning to the White House, Daniels imagined he would try to make an example of her. She suggested his followers might become “more bold” in the future, believing they might receive a pardon.

Trump was found guilty in May on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment made to Daniels before the 2016 election, intended to silence her about their earlier sexual encounter. The presumptive GOP presidential nominee was originally scheduled for sentencing on July 11, but this has now been postponed to September.

The delay is due to Trump’s legal team filing a motion to dismiss the conviction, citing the Supreme Court’s ruling that he had total immunity for “official” acts, even though the hush money scheme occurred before the 2016 election.
