Warner Bros video game studios have had a busy year as the merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery will split the games division in two. To this day it is not clear what will happen, although the operation is still pending approval by the competent North American bodies. Important titles such as Hogwarts Legacy, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League or Gothan Knights have been delayed and will come out next year 2022. However, there will be news of the latter two very soon. Games set in the DC universe will feature the DC Fandome, which will take place from October 16.
Through social networks, a new trailer has been shown in which Suicide Squad and Gothan Knights appear. Therefore, video games of Rocksteady y Warner Bros. Montreal, respectively, will have their space in streaming. In the video you can see the new look of Batgirl in Gotham Knights, as well as an art of Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad game.
Studios work in the shadows
Rocksteady’s most recent projects are Batman: Arkham Knight and Batman: Arkham VR, while Warner Bros. Montreal was responsible for development of Batman: Arkham Origins. Several years of silence passed, with some clues on social networks and a canceled title in between. However, both products were finally introduced after years of rumors. The Suicide Squad vs. the most powerful man on Earth, Superman. Gotham Knights, without Batman but with a group of superheroes to match.
Although Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are slated for 2022, they have yet to provide a more specific date. The video games will be marketed in Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, PS5 y PC. More information after streaming.
