United States gymnast Suni Lee didn’t disappoint during her recent stint at the Paris Olympics. The 21-year-old athlete came into this year’s Summer Games with a total of three medals and managed to double that tally through an exceptionally successful run in Paris.
Lee secured a gold medal in the team all-around final, performing alongside teammates Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles. She then went on to claim two bronze medals in the uneven bars and the all-around final. Notably, she had previously placed first in the all-around event during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
This brings Lee’s career medal count to two golds, a silver, and three bronze medals.
To avoid any confusion about her new medal count, Lee decided to share a video on TikTok on Monday, flaunting all six of her medals. Though the video lasted just 10 seconds, the message was loud and clear.
The video was a significant flex from the young gymnast, and her fans loved it.
“The biggest flex,” commented one supporter.
“Queen collecting them like Pokemon,” read another comment.
“SUNI IS TOO ICONIC!!! 😘 😘” exclaimed another fan.
“OK, you won with this audio 😭 🔥” another supporter summarized.
“I’m not even American, but we need you in LA2028, please, Suni,” a fan pleaded.
“Hopefully, another one in 2028!!!!! 🤞 🫶” another comment read.
Fans are already looking forward to seeing Lee back in the Summer Games when the Olympics return to the United States in four years.
It’s still unclear whether Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in U.S. Olympic history, will participate in the 2028 Games. If Biles decides to retire, Lee could take on the mantle and lead USA Gymnastics to further glory.
At this point, there’s no denying that Lee has shown she is more than capable of spearheading the U.S. gymnastics team, even if Biles chooses to step down.
