Superman and Wonder Woman will be part of the LGBT + community at DC Comics

The movies of Superheros that today lead the box office have their origin in the comics that for decades have been published in different publishers. One of the leaders is DC Comics, which has emblematic characters remembered by all generations. For this reason, the company continues to release stories that seem to have no end. A week ago, in the comic Batman: Urban Legends #6 it was revealed that the so-called third Robin it is bisexual. With this foot, Superman and Wonder Woman they would also be part of the community LGBT+ from upcoming posts.

The information was released by Ethan Van Slever, a cartoonist who worked in the company illustrating different comics, such as the Green Lantern. In your account Twitter, the artist assured “DC Comics is doing gay a Superman”. The speculations and questions of his followers did not take long to arrive and the intrigue by this tweet generated dozens of responses.

In this sense, Van Sclever assured that when he spoke of Superman, he was not really referring to Clark Kentbut his son. In this way, the authors would confirm the homosexuality of Jonathan Kent, one of the most recent characters, considering that it was introduced just five years ago. What is happening in the comics was described by many of his followers as something “historical”, since never before had the identity of the characters been addressed in this way.

The artist, a former employee of the entertainment company, reaffirmed: “In DC, all the talented and experienced workers were laid off. No incentives for creators anymore”. With respect to other renowned authors such as Geoff Johns and Warren Ellis, he indicated that they were “canceled due to problematic”. According to the cartoonist, it is clear that the company’s staff would not be going through their best moment.

He also referred to Brian Michael Bendis, the writer who came from Marvel to DC for an exclusive contract: “Bendis breaks the deal by Dark Horse Comics”.
