Sylvester Stallone has again criticized the direction of the ‘Rocky’ franchise. The actor has expressed his displeasure regarding the recently announced spin-off of the character Drago.

Through his Instagram account, the actor shared his disappointment. Although Stallone doesn’t mention anyone by name, the star mentions a “94-year-old producer,” a description that seems to point to Rocky producer Irwin Winkler, whom he has attacked on other occasions.

“Another heartthrob… I just discovered this… ONCE AGAIN, this PATHETIC 94-year-OLD PRODUCER and HIS USELESS DUMB VULTURE SONS, Charles and David, are once again clearing THE BONES of another wonderful character I created without even telling me,” Stallone wrote Saturday.

“I APOLOGIZE to the FANS, I never wanted the ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites,” he added.

“By the way, I have nothing but respect for Dolph [the actor who plays Drago in the movies], but I wish HE had told me what was going on behind my back. Keep your TRUE friends close,” he concluded.

Later, on Sunday, Stallone shared a photo of Winkler, adding: “He is presumed to be Hollywood’s most hated, untalented and decrepit producer and his cowardly children have found their next meal… Drago?”

“Throughout history, so many artists in every industry, recording, painting, writing, you name it, have been destroyed by these bloodsuckers who have destroyed so many families, lining their pockets with other people’s work,” he shared.

Stallone also made comments against Winkler earlier this month, sharing a portrait of the producer drawn as a snake. The actor expressed frustration that he had allegedly been deprived of an equity stake in the Rocky franchise.

“After Irwin controlled ‘Rocky’ for over 47 years, and now ‘Creed,’ I would really like to get back at least a little bit of WHAT’S LEFT of my rights, before passing them on ONLY TO HIS CHILDREN,” Stallone wrote.
