Taylor Swift fans attending her Eras Concert in Seattle on July 22 and 23 caused seismic activity equivalent to a 2.3 magnitude earthquake, according to seismologist Jackie Caplan-Auerbach. Caplan-Auerbach, a geology professor at Western Washington University, discovered the seismic activity while analyzing data from the concert. She found that the pattern of signals from both nights of the concert were nearly identical when overlaid on top of each other.
