Life is hectic, and sometimes you need a break. But for two very famous people, there are no breaks yet, as they continue to tumble headlong into days and days of grueling testimony and cross examinations.

And while you’re taking a breather from your otherwise hectic life, possibly playing one of your favorite no deposit online slots, you can’t possibly not have heard of the drama in the world of entertainment. We know you know what we’re talking about, so let’s get right to it… Tumultuous is perhaps one adjective that perfectly sums up the ongoing Heard vs. Depp trial. Everyone around the world has formed their own opinion, whether a well-rounded, educated one or not the general public has been pretty vocal. It doesn’t matter if you consider yourself as a die-hard JD fan or simply love to hate Amber, it’s virtually impossible not to pick a side. Even the following celebrities have been pretty expressive on the matter.

Team Johnny: Eva Green

French actress Eva Green, a Hollywood stalwart in the form of the femme fatale, Bond girl, and former colleague of JD – on the 2021 flick Dark Shadows – has thrown her support behind Johnny via Instragram. The support comes as Eva posts, ‘I have no doubt Johnny will emerge with his good name and wonderful heart revealed to the world, and life will be better than it ever was for him and his family.’

Team Johnny: Laurie Holden

Back in April, Laurie Holden, who played Andrea in the Walking Dead – if you can throw your mind back to seasons one to three – sent her public support of Johnny by posting on Twitter. The Tweet came in response to Uproxx digging up a Tweet of Laurie’s from six years earlier – saying she was going to see his latest movie and that his personal life should stay personal. The April tweet? ‘6 years later the world is finally catching up, The truth is now being revealed and there will be justice. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp.

Team Johnny: Lady Victoria Hervey

While Lady Victoria Hervey isn’t such a well-known face in the US, this British socialite, who once dated Prince Andrew, is a staple of the UK gossip mags, due to headlines such as ‘Victoria Hervey CONFIRMS threesome with Mel B & Stephen.’ In Instagram comments, Lady Victoria Hervey wrote “Pls don’t defend her she’s a horrible person. She used to beat the crap out of her ex-Tasya who used to go to the same yoga school I go to and show my teacher. She is vile and a pathological liar.’

Team Amber: Julia Fox

Meme of the moment a couple of months ago when she was Kanye’s ‘muse’, Uncut Gems star Julia Fox came out in support of Amber Heard – although her comments have been labelled as problematic. In Instagram comments, she says, ‘Did she hit him? Yes. Was it abuse? No’.  Her comments follow on from saying that Heard never had the power to be abusive in the relationship – since Johnny was financially and physically stronger. In her words – ‘you need to have power to be able to abuse it.’

Team Amber: Howard Stern

Radio star Howard Stern is also over on team Amber it seems, as he muses about the trial, setup, and Johnny’s behaviors on The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM. His comments show his perception of what’s going on – “The reason he wanted that, he wanted it televised, is that’s what narcissists do. They think they can talk their way out of anything.” “You know, I got to tell you, he’s wrong.”

Team Everyone’s Crazy: Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore copped a lot of heat early on in the trial after making comments on what she had observed so far – “It’s a seven-layer-dip of insanity.” While we’re very happy that Ms Barrymore, an absolute icon, reminded us of one of our favorite dips, she felt the blowback online as people criticised her for making fun of two people’s lives.

Team Love: Meghan McCain

And if you want to go with Team Love – Republican and former View star – now Daily Mail columnist, Meghan McCain, goes all in on her latest column. The title of the op-ed is called ‘Johnny Depp stars as the victim in the vicious and violent new courtroom drama co-starring Amber Heard. But I’m not yet ready to cast her as the villain and neither should you’ – which sums up the whole article in just a sentence.

While the trial isn’t yet over, we’re likely to see more celebs giving their opinion on the matter, and even long after a verdict is read. Really, here, are there any winners?
