A Delivery Man Caught on Video Insulting Woman Over Five-Dollar Tip

A delivery man was caught on video insulting a woman who gave him a five-dollar tip for bringing a pizza to her home in Texas, in the United States.

The incident occurred in the Kempner region of Texas after resident Lacey Purciful ordered a pizza through the DoorDash platform. The worker arrived at the house and knocked on the door to deliver the order, which was captured thanks to a security camera installed on the property’s doorbell.

In the images, it can be seen that Lacey opens the door, the delivery man delivers the pizza, and she gives him some bills.

The subject looks carefully at the money and then comments: “I just want to say that it’s a good house for a five-dollar tip.”

In response, the delivery man from Texas yelled, “Fuck you.”

Lacey Purciful shared video of the incident on TikTok, saying her bill totaled $20, so she tipped him $5. Within a few days, the clip on TikTok surpassed 25 million views, and the woman filed her complaint with DoorDash.

The resident said the company refunded her the $5 tip she gave the delivery person and was notified that the man was fired from the platform.

In addition, DoorDash told local media that they condemned the delivery man’s insult towards the woman, as it is not acceptable to harass someone to demand a tip.
