These are some of the figures for the 74th Cannes Film Festival, which will take place between July 6 and 17.


The number of times the festival could not be held: in 1939 due to World War II, in 1948 and 1950 for economic reasons, in 1968 (interrupted by the May 68 protests) and in 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic .
