The Barceló Group wins the CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism award for its business career in the Balearic Islands

The Barceló Group has been the winner of the fourth edition of the CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism awards in the Balearic Islands, which this year celebrates a special edition and recognizes the Business trajectory of the awarded companies and professionals. The Barceló Group has received this recognition from CaixaBank coinciding with the 90th anniversary of its foundation in 1931.

Since then it has been a family business that currently forms a multinational group made up of the hotel division Barceló Hotel Group, with more than 270 hotels in 24 countries, and by the travel division Ávoris Business Corporation, with more than 1,500 travel agencies, numerous tour operator brands and an airline. On January 19, CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism will bring together the winners from the different autonomous communities at the stand that CaixaBank will set up at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur).
