Gamescom 2021, the most important fair in Europe based in Cologne, Germany, has come to an end. This edition had several announcements that were presented online, derived from the COVID-19 pandemic, therefore, La Cantina spread the tablecloths to comment on it.
On this occasion our guests were Jupiter’s Heart, Nico Cordoba from Lojueguito.com, Gabriel Huerta, Octavio Castillo, Rolando Vera, and Vladimir Arteaga to talk about the presentations, as well as the formats of the fair that for the second time has been affected by the global situation, preventing face-to-face attendance.
From Bungie’s presentation on Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, the Xbox conference and the Opening Night Live, the table discussed the new announcements, surprises and disappointments of the German fair.
One of the topics that lit the table the most was Halo: Infinite which will arrive on December 8, the new control Halo Infinite Elite Series 2 limited edition, as well as the Xbox Series X Limited Edition based on the same game, both because of the lack of components at a global level and because of the lack of information about the campaign mode and the lack of the cooperative in it.
The reebot of Saint Row, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, UFL, Aloy’s appearance from Horizon Zero Dawn to Genshin Impact, the Jungle Book themed DLC in Fall Guys among others.
Finally, each of the guests spoke about their favorite titles from among all the presentations, from the Gamescom Awards 2021 where Elder Ring and Halo: Infinite were the main winners, as well as their concerns for 2022.
