The wait will come to an end much sooner than we had thought, because Spider-Man No Way Home, advanced its digital premiere a week and will no longer arrive on March 22 as originally planned, but on the 15th, so we are just a few days. The above was confirmed by Sony Pictures for IGN US, so Spidey’s multiversal adventure along with previous incarnations of Peter Parker will hit digital stores on Tuesday.
Sony also reported that the release date for the film’s physical formats, which will arrive on April 12 for the United States and possibly Latin America, and April 4 for the United Kingdom.
Confirmed By Sony Pictures
As announced since Sony released the Spidey Pointing meme in live-action, the film will include more than 100 minutes of additional material including deleted scenes, bloopers, and 20 more minutes of interaction between Peter 2 and Peter 3. On the other hand, we do not know if, with the new release date, the arrival of the film on streaming services will also be brought forward, since it has been confirmed since December that in Latam, HBO Max will be the platform that will have the latest Spidey movie in its catalog along with with other productions such as Morbius and Venom 2.
Spider-Man No Way Home became a huge success for Marvel and Sony as it managed to meet a large part of the fans’ expectations by bringing back many of the iconic villains from the previous sagas and of course Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as other Spideys. The next thing we will have about Spidey in the cinema will be the movie Across The Spider-Verse, a sequel to the award-winning 2018 film and that will show us many more Spideys, including Miguel O’Hara, Spider-Man 2099, and one of the most popular among the fans.
