The Elder Scrolls Online will be localized into Spanish in 2022

Zenimax Online Studios has listened to the requests of the followers. Bethesda has officially announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will receive an update for translate all the texts of the game into Spanish. The arrival of the localized version will not be immediate, since it will be necessary to wait until June 2022, when a new chapter of content is planned. In an interview with MeriStation, the creative director Rich Lambert has underlined the importance of this decision, since it will serve to continue building a strong and broad community.

“There was enough desire to the community itself will begin to translate it itself. That made us think that if they were willing to put their time and effort into this, we should probably do it ourselves ”, he acknowledged. This, he says, can only have a beneficial effect on the community’s growth process.

“We have seen the Spanish community grow over the years and we have heard your feedback loud and clear”, He said in a press release. “We are incredibly excited that we can finally provide Spanish localization to our community. In total, there will be about 200,000 lines of dialogue, although the number will vary because it is a game in constant evolution.

Optimized for new consoles

The Elder Scrolls Online is a game in constant evolution. Therefore, the launch of Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5 has allowed the title to be updated to take advantage of the hardware of these systems.
