Army of the Dead became the most watched movie of the second quarter of this year on the streaming service Netflix, so it was decided to bet on a zombie universe that already has several projects in the folder. Fee, Stuart Martin, Guz Khan, Jonathan Cohen and Noémie Nakai will enter, and little by little he is part of a completely unknown world that will take him to Las Vegas.
From start to finish, entertainment reigns supreme with hints of action from a robbery feature film. Schweighöfer, who also serves as a director, manages to give it rhythm with his skill, fast cameras and footage that will remind fans of Snyder himself. Comedy is the genre that predominates for more than two hours, apart from the fact that some gags do not feel forced, no matter how ridiculous they may seem.
The weakest point is found in part of his characters, especially the secondary ones, where we have an Interpol villain with movements that are always favorable for the protagonists and a “bad boy” who stays in the middle. It is not a film that will go down in history nor will it be one of Netflix’s best, since it is often confused in its message, but if you are looking for a fun time and Army of the Dead it was to your liking, you can’t miss it Army of Thieves.
