The Madrid Stock Exchange index loses six values and will have 109 companies

The General Index of the Madrid Stock Exchange (IGBM) will add in the first half of 2023 a new listed company and will lose seven securities, which in the next six months will be composed of 109 companies, compared to the current 115, reported Tuesday the manager of the Spanish stock exchanges BME.

The IGBM Management Committee has decided at its regular meeting to include Opdenergy in this indicator and in the Total Market Index and to deregister Siemens Gamesa, Ezentis, Innovative Solutions Ecosystem, Special Ingots, Libertas 7, Motebalito and Squirrel Media.

Opdenergy enters after its IPO on July 22 of this year, while Siemens Gamesa causes it to withdraw after announcing its intention to be delisted once the takeover bid presented by its parent, Siemens Energy Global, has ended.

Ezentis and Innovative Solutions Ecosystem were suspended from trading on December 2 and November 25, respectively, and the rest (Lingotes Especiales, Libertas 7, Montebalito and Squirrel Media) do not meet the requirements for membership in the index.
