One of the new emojis that stands out is the green heart. Many people relate it to love, but according to Emojipedia, the green heart has various meanings. In English, it is simply known as the “Green heart” and represents “hope” in some contexts, while in others, it can also signify “envy.” However, it may also provide security to your loved one.
The context in which the green heart is used in WhatsApp determines its meaning. This emoji is appreciated on various platforms other than WhatsApp and has even sparked conversations about the Korean boy band NCT on Twitter. It is noteworthy that each colored heart has a different explanation.
The green heart emoji was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
