The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) has declared that Mexican actor Octavio Ocaña, whose death was announced this Saturday, would have shot himself in the head with a weapon.
This Friday, municipal police officers tried to stop the car in which Ocaña was circulating through the municipality of Cuautitlán Izcalli. However, the driver did not slow down and accelerated to avoid being stopped, initiating a chase.
According to a release of the Prosecutor’s Office, during the persecution, the actor lost control of the car and collided with the side of the road. Ocaña is reported to have been found with a gunshot injury to the head. The weapon, which, according to witnesses, was the same one carried by Ocaña, was found in the truck in which the actor was traveling.
The two people who were traveling in the van with the young man, known for playing the character of Benito Rivers in the Televisa television series ‘Necinos’, and who were arrested at the scene, declared that they had known him “for several years and that in recent days they had been with him consuming alcohol. ” They also clarified that at no time was there an exchange of shots.
