One part of the coming-of-age story and the other of a thriller set in the fun world of Berlin, we see how a girl discover all the parts of life, of herself and follow the dark paths to discover the dangerous mysteries of her family’s past “, says its official synopsis.

The fiction was inspired by and loosely based on the autobiography of Deborah Feldman call “Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots”, 2012. The script was created by the author of the literary work, Anna Winger, Alexa Karolinski and Daniel Hendler, while the direction was directed by Maria Schrader.
