Invasion, the new science fiction series and alien invasions of Apple TV+, presents its final trailer (which you can see at the top of this news) less than a month after its official premiere on the apple streaming platform, scheduled for the next October 22, 2021. And it does so with a spectacular advance that lets us see something more of its lavish staging, with special effects that could well pass for those of a blockbuster from Hollywood.
Aliens invade Apple TV + this October
Thus, this new clip of almost three minutes immerses us in the umpteenth alien invasion of Earth, through the arrival of numerous ships from another world on a global scale. It will be then when humanity begins to react in the most varied ways, yes, with a common denominator: the fear.
And it is that Invasion seems to bet on two types of plot against the arrival of aliens, in principle, hostile. On the one hand, it is intended to expel them by force through military forces; although other people try to engage in some kind of communication. Something like a mix between movies like War of the Worlds and The arrival.
The cast of Invasion is made up of Sam Neill (Jurassic Park, Horizonte Final, Peaky Blinders), Shamier Anderson (disomnia) Golshifteh Farahani (Tyler Rake), Firas Nassar (Fauda) and Shioli Kutsuna (Deadpool 2) under the direction of Jakob Verbruggen. Invasion is the work of Simon Kinberg (producer of the X-Men film series) and David Weil (Hunters).
Another of the most anticipated science fiction series of the year opens tomorrow, Foundation, also exclusively for Apple TV+, based on the work of Isaac Asimov.
Invasion premieres exclusively in Apple TV+ the next October 22, 2021.
