The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is one of the most anticipated projects in development by Star Wars fans.
Until now we knew that the Lucasfilm production will star Ewan McGregor and will feature major appearances, such as Hayden Christiansen in the role of Anakin Skywalker and, subsequently, Darth Vader.
Now, Disney has revealed the date when the series should arrive on the Disney Plus platform. Through a post on Twitter, the company noted that the Star Wars fiction will premiere on May 25.
It is a special date for the successful franchise since just that day commemorates the premiere of the first film of the original saga in 1977.
The announcement of the premiere was also accompanied by the publication of the first official poster of the series, where Obi-Wan Kenobi appears walking on the dunes of the planet Tatooine.
In addition to this information and some of the actors who make up the cast, the studio has not provided more details about the fiction.
What is known is that it should be set after the events that were part of Episode Three, Revenge of the Sith.
It should be remembered that this year, Disney Plus also premiered The Book of Boba Fett series that, after a lukewarm start managed to excite the most demanding fans of Star Wars.
This year is also scheduled the return of The Mandalorian and its third season, which is expected with expectation by lovers of fiction created by George Lucas.
