The remake of the mythical Myst already has a release date on PC, Xbox consoles and Game Pass

Myst, the 1993 narrative adventure classic by Cyan Inc. for PC finally returns this August as a remake for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with the addition of being available in Xbox Game Pass from launch day. So they have announced those responsible for Cyan Worlds, confirming that their new video game will be available next August 26, 2021, also sharing a new trailer that you can see heading this news and in which new gameplay sequences of a mythical title are shown for the most veteran players.

With game mode for virtual reality

Thus, this “reimagining” of Myst, as its creators define it, offers two game modes, one traditional and the other specially designed for the Oculus virtual reality, yes, only in the PC version. In addition, the return of this great adventure, completely made from scratch, bets on new accessibility options, a screen capture system that will offer support for solving your puzzles and texts localized to Spanish from Latin America, at least at the time of its launch.

For this new version it has opted for a totally current visual section with realistic graphics and offering even supersampling and Ray Tracing on platforms compatible with this technology. Of course, according to Cyan Worlds, this new Myst offers a wide range of compatibility options with less technically trained teams.

This new reimagining of the classic Myst will be available this coming August 26, 2021 for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store y GOG), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with the possibility that subscribers of Xbox Game Pass can enjoy it from the first moment, both on PC and on consoles and mobile devices through Microsoft’s cloud services.
