Through a statement, the company “Casa Toreros” reported that the 2021 edition of the historic Señor de los Milagros fair was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As they specified, they exhausted all possible means to carry out the event, however, they could not find a viable solution to the restrictions and demands required that the opening of the Plaza de Acho entailed in the midst of the expansion of the coronavirus.
“After exploring all possible avenues, trying by all means with the corresponding authorities, in addition to speaking with the main bullfighting figures (…) it was impossible due to the reduction of the imposed capacity and the high costs involved in opening Bullring”, says the statement.
The company also reported that it is already working to make the 2022 edition possible, and that details of the posters, sale of tickets and prices will be released shortly.
It should be remembered that in 2020 the fair was suspended for the first time in 74 years due to the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in our country.
