The Wilds highly praised American drama series will soon return for season 2 on Amazon Prime. The first season of the series was launched in December 2020, and it was renewed for a second season the same month.

The story follows a group of abandoned females on a remote island following an aircraft catastrophe; however, things quickly change when they learn that they are the subjects of a sociological experiment, not the plane crash.

Even though the first season ended on a cliffhanger, the second season will finally tell what happens next? We saw the ladies battle last season, and as they got to know one other more, we saw them connect.

When Will The Wilds Season 2 Be Released?

While filming for Season 2 of “the Wilds” did not begin right away owing to delays caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, it wasn’t long before Amazon, and the actors were back in the saddle. The official “The Wilds” Twitter feed tweeted a video of several cast and crew members on set in April 2021, confirming the show’s comeback. Things aren’t quite the same this time around, however.

The programme is filming in a new location in addition to a new season. Variety reports that the series production has shifted from New Zealand to Queensland, Australia. This move was made to secure more government financing from Australia, which required Amazon and ABC Signature to recruit significantly more Australian personnel.

Even while these changes took place, the release date for Season 2 remained a mystery. Fortunately, a recent Instagram post has provided a solution to this issue. Season 2 of “The Wilds” is slated to launch on Amazon Prime on May 6, 2022.

According to Harris, creator Sarah Streicher has “a lot of powerful ideas about where the show [is] heading next,” but the program’s creative team is “ready and open to see other things come together once we start creating the next pieces of the home.” “We do have certain ideas where each female would land at the end of this,” Streicher says of what may happen beyond Season 2.

Who Will Appear In Season 2 Of The Wilds?

One thing is sure: Season 2 of “The Wilds” will follow in the footsteps of Season 1, but with some additions. Season 2 will include the same core group of females introduced in the previous season. As a result, Fatin Jadmani (Sofia Ali), Martha Blackburn (Jenna Clause), Rachel Reid (Reign Edwards), Dot Campbell (Shannon Berry), Nora Reid (Helena Howard), Shelby Goodkind (Mia Healy), Toni Shalifoe (Erana James), and Leah Rilke (Sarah Pidgeon) will all be back. Gretchen Klein (Rachel Griffiths), the possibly diabolical leader of the Dawn of Eve program, will also return, as will Dean Young (Troy Winbush) and FBI trauma psychologist Daniel Faber (David Sullivan).

Additionally, fans will learn more about the Twilight of Adam, the opposite male counterpart to the Dawn of Eve organization. Their presence was confirmed at the close of the first season, but fans haven’t seen much of them thus yet. Rafael Garcia (Zack Calderon), Henry Tanaka (Aiden Laprete), Josh Herbert (Nicholas Coome), Kirrin O’Conner (Charles Alexander), Ivan Taylor (Miles Gutierrez-Riley), Scotty Simms (Reed Shannon), Bo Leonard (Tanner Ray Rook), and Seth Novak are the eight adolescent guys, according to Deadline (Alex Fitzalan).
