And is that after the new look at the production of the sequel to Aquaman, director James Wan has published on his Twitter account new images of Black Manta, the famous villain played again by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
“Black Manta (played by the talented and evil Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and his ship / technology are inspired by the aesthetics of the comics of the Silver Age (and the New 52)”, writes the filmmaker through networks social. Of course, the appearance of the actor in his new armor cannot be more threatening and imposing, also paying tribute to the classic versions of the comics.
At the moment there are no details about the plot of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, although up to three new additions have been confirmed with the characters of Karshon (a shark with a humanoid shape), Atlan, a former king of Atlantis, and Stingray. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled to premiere on December 16, 2022.
Recently James Wan himself shared the first official images of Jason Momoa with his new suits for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, highlighting a new version with darker tones.
