Zeus, played by Russell Crowe, may also be seen.
We’ve gathered everything else we know about Thor: Love and Thunder, from who in the cast to the scoop on that trailer and everything else we know about the narrative. Please scroll down to learn all you need to know about Thor 4 before its July release date.
Date Of Release
Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on July 8, 2022, after being postponed. It was initially set for May 6. However, the revised Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness release date has been set for May 6. Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever used to have this summer release date, but it is now in the winter.
Thor 4 is one of the most entertaining and thrilling blockbusters on the horizon in the vast list of movies coming out in 2022.
It will eventually appear on Disney Plus, available on all of the most significant streaming devices. It was supposed to be released on November 5, 2021 (announced during SDCC in 2019). However, it was moved back until February 11, 2022. However, the coronavirus epidemic caused it and many other projects to be postponed.
The cast of Thor: Love and Thunder
It should come as no surprise who is in the spotlight. Yep. Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor, the God of Thunder. Valkyrie, the newly-installed monarch of New Asgard, will be joining him (Tessa Thompson). However, fans of Loki will be disappointed to learn that Tom Hiddleston will not be reprising his role.
Natalie Portman was brought on stage as a surprise at SDCC 2019. She would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Jane Foster, not just any Jane Foster. Jane Foster will be The Mighty Thor, a narrative hook straight from comic writer Jason Aaron’s famed mid-2010s Thor run, whether she’s from the universe. In addition, Portman recently confirmed that her character would be treated for cancer. Check out what the comics say about Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor if you’re not sure what to anticipate.
Russell Crowe has joined the film cast and stated that he would portray Zeus, which means we can anticipate a lot of lightning if the two thunder gods meet.
Sif has been brought back by Jaimie Alexander, and other MCU characters, like Matt Damon repeating his role from Thor: Ragnarok, might be on the way. On Asgard, he portrayed an actor who played Loki. Sam Neil, who portrayed the role of Odin in the same play, has also hinted at a possible appearance.
Director Taika Waititi will also reprise his role as Korg in front of the camera.
Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord, joins Vin Diesel as Groot, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Dave Bautista as Drax, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis in the next Thor film. We know that Rocket Raccoon is present and accounted for, so we can presume that Bradley Cooper is. The Asgardians of the Galaxy take to the skies once again.
Is there anybody else? Jeff Goldblum has been photographed in Australia alongside Hemsworth and Waititi, indicating that the Grandmaster is making a comeback. Melissa McCarthy has also been seen on site, portraying Cate Blanchett’s Hela as an Asgardian.
Christian Bale has signed on to portray Gorr the God Butcher, who played a crucial part in Jason Aaron’s tenure as the guy who slaughtered deities throughout time and space and will be pitted against the Thors. For Odin’s sake, he effectively became Marvel’s version of Kratos. What has not to appreciate about that? We have had our first look of Bale in costume thanks to some set images, and he is looking quite comic accurate. Since then, a LEGO set has offered an even better view of the villain.
