Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: 2K Games promises us a start to 2022 rich in color and with a little bit of madness. A little one? Not a huge grain of madness. Welcome to the crazy world of Tiny Tina’s Wonderland! This crazy world is straight from the imagination of Tiny Tina, a character that we meet in the excellent Borderlands 2, and in which we plunged a first time in 2013 in the expansion of Borderlands 2 Tiny Tina and the Dragon Fortress. Except that this time, we stay there, and for a complete adventure! Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will follow the typical formula of Borderlands games, shoot everything that moves, meet crazy characters, and looter a maximum. All in co-op up to four players. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Release Date
Tiny Tina’s Wonderland will be released on March 25. directly on PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series, and Playsation 5. Owners of last-gen consoles are not left out since the game will also be released on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It can already be pre-ordered in its three different versions: the Standard Edition, the Wonderful Chaos Edition, or the Next-Level Edition.
Gameplay
As we told you in the introduction, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is a looter-shooter with Borderlands sauce. You play as characters straight from the imagination of the little girl, from the hands of fate, as part of a Dungeon and Dragon role-playing game. Except that for you, monsters are very real. This in-game game offers us a narrative at the height of the first titles of the franchise, adding a pinch of heroic fantasy at the expense of the Mad-Max side of the space of the previous Borderlands, a breath of freshness after a fairly average Borderlands 3. Moreover, this new game also introduces new mechanics, we find a million weapons available, and the usual shields, but we can also find rings that can strengthen certain skills. Skill trees and classes are also completely new, as well as the elemental damage of black magic. There is also a lot more magic which offers a little more variety to the fights.
Because it must be understood that Tina’s Wonderland intends to dive headfirst into the popular genre of fantasy RPG. That is to say, it will both respect the respected looter-shooter formula of the Borderlands series, but by integrating entirely elements of heroic-fantasy RPG. There will be a character creation menu, six classes, spells, dungeons, and everything that makes the traditional prerogative of more traditional RPGs. Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is no exception, offering a unique adventure through two modes of cooperation; the coopetition mode where the players share the loot and the enemies are at the level of the group leader, and the classic cooperation model where everyone benefits from their own loot and where the enemies are at the level of the low average of the group. Also, you should know that Tiny Tina’s Wonderland will offer a split-screen game, but only on consoles. It will be able to accommodate two players on PS4 and Xbox One and up to four players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
