Tom Holland joins the Spiderman lore

In every movie reboot, comparisons between actors who played the same characters are very difficult to dissuade. And, that is exactly what happened to Tom Holland since he came to the Marvel franchise to play the famous Peter Parker, better known as Spiderman and who was also part of the life of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

The first appearances of Spiderman were by Garfield and Maguire and then, in 2017, they gave way for the first time to Tom Holland in a new version of the youngest superhero in the Marvel world. And, despite the fact that many times they talked about the differences that each of the interpreters had when giving life to the same character, there is something that all three have in common.

This similarity that unites the actors beyond having dressed the super arachnid’s red suit is what is known as the Superman tradition and is based simply on finding love on set. Is that, yesterday afternoon it was known that Holland and Zendaya, his co-star, began a relationship after years of adjudicating being just friends and that they had no other intention.

Although it was not the actors who confirmed this love, some photographs of them kissing during a car trip did. Tom wasn’t the only Peter Parker to go through this though – his love for MJ permeated the screen more than once as Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire also dated their co-stars.

In Tobey’s case, it was in 2001 when it became known that his relationship with his Mary Jane went beyond the recording set. It was for a year that the actor and Kristen Dunst lived a much talked about romance since, as well as with Holland and Zendaya, he also imagined it was to promote the film. In fact, Sam Raimi, director of the film, mentioned more than once the concern about his breakup since it was before filming the second part.

On the other hand, Andrew found love in the arms of Emma Stone. The actress, who played Gwen Stacey in The Amazing Spiderman y The Amazing Spiderman 2: El poder de Electro, was in a relationship with the protagonist from 2011 to 2015, years in which they became one of the favorite couples not only of Marvel but also of Hollywood in general.

However, now, Garfield and Stone’s relationship has been forgotten as, for years, fans of Marvel and Spiderman themselves, eagerly awaited that Tom Holland and Zendaya joined in a loving bond. And, although it was said that it is a promotion for his latest film, Spiderman: no way home, the truth is that, being the third and last of the trilogy, it no longer needs much more publicity.
