Despite Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s success as Spiderman, it was Tom Holland who managed to win the hearts of fans. It was in 2015 when the British actor arrived in the Marvel Cinematic Universe giving life to Peter Parker in Captain America: civil war.
However, in 2017, when it was released Spiderman: homecoming with Tom Holland as the exclusive protagonist, his success was unmatched. And, on December 17, it will hit theaters Spiderman: no way home, the film that will give a definitive end to the artist’s adventures as Marvel’s youngest superhero.
In other words, with the closure of the super arachnid trilogy, Holland’s contract with the MCU also ends, so many fans felt disappointed. However, for everyone’s peace of mind, it has just been leaked that Kevin Feige would already be in talks with the actor about the possibility of planning a new superhero trilogy.
Even so, there is still no official confirmation, but it is known that the intentions to keep Tom are. Likewise, Feige confirmed that Marvel has new policies when it comes to signing contracts which imply not blocking actors with too many projects that extend into the future, thus preventing them from feeling forced to stay with them if they really do not want to do so.
This coincides with the recent talk they would have had with Tom Holland to whom, although it seems to be, they want to keep, they would not want to take away space to continue growing in their career. Although, it should be noted, that the interpreter more than once assured that he wants to stay in the MCU and would be delighted to do so.
