Tormented Souls, the Dual Effect survival horror inspired by classics from Silent Hill and Resident Evil, reach finally to PS4 y Xbox One, platforms for which it was canceled a few months ago in favor of PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. The Dual Effect title will bet on a reinterpretation of survival horror from the 90s: fixed camera system, puzzle solving, combat and exploration of intricate scenarios, as well as backtracking mechanics. The usual ingredients that we find in classics like Silent Hill y Resident Evil, among other proper names of the genre. The story will put us in the shoes of Caroline Walker, an investigator who must travel to Winterlake to try to shed some light on the mysterious disappearance of two twins.

As for the PS5 version, the game promises to take advantage of the features of the DualSense, according to the praise that its responsible studio had for the command: “I think the DualSense will be very important for horror titles on PlayStation 5, as it will help increase the player’s immersion in the experience,” they commented in an interview with Segment Next.
