Triangle Strategy, the new strategy role-playing title from Artdink and Square Enix, is undoubtedly one of the first big releases we’ll see in 2022 for Nintendo Switch. Triangle Strategy: the fusion between Octopath Traveler and Final Fantasy Tactics
The main hallmarks of the title are the Strategic turn-based combat and a complex story packed with characters. In addition, the graphic section halfway between 2D and 3D also stands out. At MeriStation we spent several hours testing the trial version at the time, and our conclusions were as follows: “with what we have seen so far of Triangle Strategy, we have many reasons to look forward to it. And is that promises to give a spin to the classic strategy game formula, while mixing it with pixelated graphics that worked very well on Octopath Traveler. In addition, both the plot and the gameplay have shown that no segment of the game will be boring, as knows how to catch us with a fascinating storytelling and addictive gameplay”.
Of course, those responsible for the title recently confirmed that after the demo they have worked on different changes and improvements. From a reduction in loading times (about 10 seconds), to new levels of “easy” and “hard” difficulty. In addition, now we can also rotate the camera, activate the automatic reproduction of dialogues and even omit video sequences, among other novelties designed to improve the quality of life of the player.
