Kiev, Oct 22 (Reuters) – Ukrainian farms have harvested 56.3 million tonnes of cereals from 76.5% of their planting area, with an average yield of 4.62 tonnes per hectare, the Ministry of Agriculture said on Friday. Farming.
The total includes 32.3 million tons of wheat, 9.6 million tons of barley, 11.2 million tons of corn and small volumes of other grains, the portfolio added.
Favorable weather could help Ukraine harvest a record 80.3 million tonnes of grain this year, up from 65 million tonnes in 2020, the ministry said.
