The unemployment rate in Japan remained at 2.6% in October, after the rise of one tenth experienced by the indicator in the previous month, the Japanese government reported on Tuesday.
The number of unemployed in the Asian country in the tenth month of 2022 was 1.78 million, a reduction of 60,000 people or 3.3% year-on-year, according to data released today by the Japanese Ministry of Interior and Communications.
The number of people with work in the archipelago stood at 67.55 million in that month, representing 500,000 more individuals or an increase of 0.7% compared to the previous year.
The number of jobs available per 100 job seekers in Japan was 135 last month, up one point from the previous month.
