Real Betis, Fenerbahçe, Rennes and Freiburg sealed a place in the top two early on Thursday, which guarantees a place in the knockout rounds.
Betis, in Group C, drew with AS Roma (1-1) after Sergio Canales’ goal was countered by Andrea Belotti, but it was enough for the LaLiga team to secure a position in the top two.
