Queen Letizia’s Fashion Choices: From Granada to Madrid
Last Saturday, June 3, the Queen, along with King Felipe VI, traveled to Granada to take part in the central event of Armed Forces Day, where her fashion choices always catch attention. She impressed everyone with a spring image, dressed in a white cotton poplin blouse from Galician firm Boüret and a floral-print skirt designed by Sevillian José Hidalgo.
Today, she is in Madrid for the meeting of the board of trustees of the FAD Youth Foundation and to present research on video games’ effects on young people. There, she once again relied on Spanish fashion, particularly from the Massimo Dutti label.
Her Massimo Dutti Nappa Kimono Dress
For this institutional event held in Madrid, Queen Letizia chose to wear one of her dresses under the seal of the Spanish firm Massimo Dutti. Out of 11 different models she has, today, she decided to wear a white nappa leather dress with a kimono-type cut, a matching belt to define the figure and delicate lace details.
This design was not seasonal and was first seen on the Queen at the inaugural act of Picasso Year at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in the Spanish capital on September 12, 2022. She matched it with reddish accessories, including a clutch bag with gold foil on the closure designed by Carolina Herrera and slingback pumps in python skin by Magrit.
It is fascinating to see how Queen Letizia focuses on Spanish fashion designers to showcase their talent on global platforms. Her fashion choices on these occasions inspire fashion enthusiasts and have become a trendsetter for many.
