Heather Locklear’s Health Concern: Melrose Place Actress Spotted Behaving Erratically
Heather Locklear’s health is a concern again: the Melrose Place actress, 61, was recently seen behaving erratically in Malibu, California. Locklear, who has publicly battled addiction, was photographed struggling to maintain her balance as she walked on the ledge of an office building. She was wearing flip flops and holding onto cement pillars for support.
Some of Locklear’s friends believe she may have started drinking again, despite multiple stints in rehabilitation. On the day of the incident, Locklear’s boyfriend, former motocross racer Chris Heisser, took her to a meeting at the office building. After the hour-long meeting, Locklear began walking along the building’s cornice and quickly crossed the street. She appeared distraught as she sat on a staircase, reading a notebook and talking to herself.
A video captured Locklear looking puzzled while reading what seemed to be her personal diary. At one point, she became visibly angry and gestured animatedly at something written in the notebook before putting it back in her bag. As Locklear walked along the building walls, she appeared nervous and clung to the columns to avoid falling into the parking lot below.
Locklear’s Relationship with Heisser
Following her stay in a rehabilitation facility in 2018, Locklear entered into a steady relationship with Heisser. The couple has known each other since their high school days and rekindled their romance in mid-2017. Locklear has previously been married twice and has a 25-year-old daughter named Ava.
Locklear’s History with Addiction and Legal Troubles
Locklear has faced numerous battles with addiction and legal troubles. In 2008, she was hospitalized for the first time for addiction treatment. In 2010, she was ordered by a judge to return to rehab after causing a traffic accident. Locklear has also been arrested for driving under the influence and drug possession. She has faced allegations of domestic violence in 2011 and has been involved in altercations with her partners.
In 2012, Locklear was hospitalized for poisoning after mixing pills with alcohol. In 2018, she was arrested for assaulting a police officer and a doctor after making suicide threats. As a result, she was ordered by the court to enter a rehabilitation center for over 30 days. Throughout her struggles, her daughter Ava has been a source of support and has accompanied her during her treatment.
Locklear’s situation remains challenging, but she continues to receive support from her loved ones, including Richie Sambora, Ava’s father. Despite the difficulties, Locklear’s close circle remains hopeful and keeps her best interests in mind.
