The new movie of the Venom series, starring Tom Hardy, is on the way. Producer Amy Pascal has already announced that Venom 3 is in the making.
ColliderPascal, who gave an interview to Venom confirmed that the sequel is in the making:
“We are currently in the planning phase. But the only thing we’re focusing on right now is getting everyone to watch No Homecoming.”
Tom Hardy first starred as Venom in the 2018 Spider-Man spin-off. The film, which tells the story of investigative journalist Eddie Brock, tells the origin story of the Venom symbiote, an extraterrestrial parasitic being living inside Eddie.
Venom’s sequel, Venom 2: Toxic Fury, opened the door to the sequel. Despite positive and negative reviews by critics, the film grossed $483 million at the US box office, making it the sixth highest-grossing film of 2021. In addition, the film made its $90 million opening weekend. pandemic record broke.
Venom 2: Toxic Fury, Venom and Eddie Brock from Marvel’s current He signaled that there would be a merger tying him to Peter Parker. Although Pascal refuses to make detailed explanations on the subject, there may be a merger in the Marvel universe.
Pascal said, “We have great movies made by Sony on the one hand, and the Marvel universe and Spider-Verse movies on the other, and we’re all very careful to work with each other in a way that contributes to all these universes.”
Spider-Man: No Homecoming brings a lot of old Spider-Man villains back to the MCU, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to get Venom in action.
It is not yet clear whether Venom will appear in No Homecoming. But the fact that Venom 3 is in the making reveals that Tom Hardy is not done with Eddie Brock just yet.
