All the details of the post-credits scene of Venom There Will Be Carnage
Let’s start by making something clear from the beginning. To this day, Venom did not belong to Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe, but to Sony’s. This is important to understand why Venom was not in the MCU. Who is is another character under the umbrella of the Japanese publisher, Spider-Man, whose rights are transferred to Disney. Post-credits scene reveals Venom somehow happens to be in the cinematic universe we all know.
The scene, which appears in the middle of the credit titles, shows us Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) watching a soap opera and chatting with the symbiote. Suddenly something happens, something strange. After that conversation, some kind of explosion takes place on the outskirts and goes from being at night to being during the day. They are in another dimension. On television appears J. J. Jameson (J. K. Simmons) telling the whole country what we saw in Spider-Man: Far From Home (2018), nothing less than the identity of Spider-Man, Peter Parker, whom he presents as a public enemy.
Possibilities for Venom’s future in the Marvel Universe
That is to say, this opens the doors for us to see Spider-Man played by Tom Holland in a future Venom movie or, what is better for fans of the MCU, that future Spider-Man films or crossovers show Venom from Tom Hardy as one more of this particular cinephile party.
Something similar should happen with Deadpool, X-Men and all the licenses that Disney has bought, which sooner or later will appear in some way in the MCU. The multiverse has consequences and this is one of them. And you, What do you think will happen in the future?
